(Evaluation) Who is your audience and how will your magazine attract them?

"Old School" has a wide target audience, aimed at men in their late teens up to their 40's giving a larger audience which should increase sales and circulation. I chose to do this as I want to target readers from the 'old school' era but also to introduce people to a new kind of music. It is important that my magazine has no boundaries for people, e.g. it does not matter what age group, race, religion or gender you are.

Whilst this age group would be my preferred market, as by concentrating particularly on them, this should maximise the magazines sales potential, but if younger people wanted to buy it, they would feel comfortable reading it as well.

I really want my readers to understand why they should buy my magazine so it is important to get the message across in a clear, precise way. I think I have achieved this by creating eye catching and interesting photos and text.

My front cover, D.P.S and contents will all appeal to my target audience's likes so will want to read the articles inside my magazine. For example, they will be able to relate to the images above as they will recognise the style of clothing and footwear which they either wear themselves or would want to wear.
